VIDEO - how a signwriter uses knife-less tape on your vehicles ? ? ?

Been a while since a blog. I’m a bit rusty, here goes.

in a nutshell.gif

I put a little detail video together showing one of the Super Top Secret techniques used in doing vehicle signage. Everyone knows a knife and squeegee is a sign-writers main tools and probably is thinking we use the knife on there vehicles in some careful manner. To be honest we barely used the knife on any substrate of surface apart from decal preparation. Speaking for myself here only.

In comes knife-less tape. When applying signage or wraps to vehicle what have shapes, it can be easier to us the knife-less tape to draw your line or shape, wrap over the top with your vinyl and then pulling that thin bead of fiber through the film, leaving that sharp crisp edge, and zero cuts on a vehicle.

There is a little more to it, but there it is in a nutshell.

Now disclaimer: This is something I do, BUT, I’m definitely not speaking for all “signmakers” out there. I’ve seen some things, trust me.
